  After investigating several options, my wife and I chose OVM financial based on a recommendation from a real estate agent. We were purchasing a risky VA foreclosure home with many issues. To complicate matters, we did not have a buyer's agent during the purchase process. Josh Benton was our OVM representative and Russell Smith the senior oversite at OVM.
  
  Let me say, that there is not a single regret in this choice. In my line of work I deal with senior military officers, state appointees, and legislative staffs on a regular basis. In comparison, Josh and Russel at OVM were, beyond a shadow of a doubt, the most responsive and knowledgeable group of professionals I have dealt with in a long time.
  
  When you deal with these individuals they truly make you feel as if you are their only client (which obviously you are not). My wife and I felt that they engaged our loan with fervor and wanted, in sincerity, the best outcome for us and our future (not just their own financial success). Some highlights of my experience included:
  
  1. Unfettered phone and email access to Josh and Russel around the clock; handy for those pressing needs and unexpected deadlines.
  
  2. A willingness on their part to provide substantive information UNSOLICITED. What a true breath of fresh air it was to deal with self-starters who told me important specifics regularly (and at the appropriate times) without me having to ask!
  
  3. Rapid and efficacious responses to my often complex and precise questions.
  
  4. Timely reactions to unexpected developments with effective solutions.
  
  5. Engagement right up until the moment of closing even after their part of the deal being was "in the bag" so to speak.
  
  To add to the aforementioned points, they are extremely friendly people. If we ever got "a little under their skin", they definitely did not show it.
  
  I can, and will, without hesitation recommend Josh Benton and Russell Smith, along with OVM Financial, to anyone looking to secure a loan for property or any other service they provide. I would use them without hesitation a second time if the need ever arises, certainly without even giving it a second thought or shopping around. If the rest of the professional world operated like these guys we would all be much better off.
